Those with high-end PCs, can you feel a tangible difference when playing on PC vs PS5 Pro?
Huge difference since you can crank up path tracing and get high frame rates. I only have a 4090 but I play on an LG 5K2K ultrawide and this right here is a better experience than a PS5 Pro. I know I have both with my pro hooked up to an LG C5 42".

Is an RTX 5080 worth it for a 5K2K ultrawide setup?
I have a lg gx9 5k2k ultrawide oled and a 5090 and can confirm a 5090 is a good pairing. Dlss will be your friend in a lot of games.

Is a curved monitor superior in every way to a flat screen? Is it worth it? Curved monitor owners what's your take?
I would go with a 45" OLED from LG (either the 5k2k version or it's predecessor with lower resolution but still OLED; 1.418€ vs 977€ on Amazon in Germany). 49" gives you more content on the sides and is in return limited in the height. 45" makes more sensé, especially with 800r curve on a rig.

Upgraded to a 32" 4K 240hz OLED and it's like magic
It's expensive, but I recently got my LG 39". It's the benefit of a 32" 4K in height but still ultrawide. It's an absolute dream to game and use for productivity.

Is an RTX 5080 worth it for a 5K2K ultrawide setup?
I happen to have and LG's latest and greatest 39GX950B 5k2k monitor. In most games - 5080 is enough, even at ultra settings. Of course that is WITH DLSS at Balanced+. Problems begin with either less optimized titles like Monster Hunter or something like Cyberpunk with everything on - there you must

Selling my rig, am i crazy
it’s really easy to over complicate these sim rigs and that can lead to all sort of issues daily. I have all the bells and whistles - Motion-Haptics- seat belt tensioner-Wind-full flight and Helo setup and most of the time I don’t use much of it - but it’s there when I need it. Smartest thing I’ve d

Spent more time building it than racing
The extra legs and feet definitely worth it IMO. I just converted my triple mount with some extra profile supplied by my rig manufacturer, pics in my post here. I almost went the same route as you with the LG C5 42s. It was really just weighing up the pros and cons vs the LG ultrawide 800R 45s and i

Ką jūsų kompiuterio darbalaukis sako apie jus
Siaip sakyciau overrated superultrawide, jeigu zaidimo HUD nesireguliuoja arciau centro, pavargsti galva sukiot. Dabar geriau imciau mazesni LG 5K2K uz tokias babkes.

What monitor/s is everybody rocking ?
Same here. Finally upgrading to the 39GX950B and it’s bittersweet. The AW38 was a damn beast and it just worked. Only criticism was meh contrast but it’s an IPS so it was expected. The LG 5k2k will be my first OLED, so excited for that!
