Picked up a LG 34gn850-b last year for like $330 or something and can't regretted it. It's no OLED, to be sure, but I've no desire to upgrade at all. And I say this as someone who fully appreciates OLED panels. I adore my LG OLED television in my home theater setup. 1440P UW is a good sweet spot for

Do you guys have any recommendations for a ultrawide screen?
I have 2 LG 34GN850-B monitors. One for my main gaming computer, and one for my simrig computer. I love them. Prices vary wildly on them though, depending on stock available and where you source one. Amazon (sold and shipped by) seems to be about the best place to get one.

Recommend me a 1440p monitor
(IMO) best non-oled ips ultrawide option in 1440p? LG 34GN850(P) or LG 34GP83. BUT Any monitor can die on you directly in or after warranty period. Most OLED monitors have longer warranty periods.

Ultimate guide to choose your monitor against eyestrain and keep a healthy eye
I had been using an LG 29β Ultrawide LG29UM68-P (IPS, 70Hz, 5ms, Matte, Flat) for almost 8 years without any problems using it mostly for productivity work, CAD and casual gaming. I recently upgraded to a Samsung 34β Ultrawide LS34C502GAUXEN (VA, 100Hz, 5ms, Matte, Flat) and have severe eye-strain a

What size monitor do you recommend for ATS?
I have 2 LG 34GN850-B. One for my main gaming computer, and one for my simrig computer. I love them. One of the best PC component investments I've ever made.

If triples arenβt an option, does one ultrawide do it for you?
LG 34GN850-B 34" 3440x1440 curved 21:9 1ms Nano-IPS 144Hz (160Hz overdrive) GSync and has HDR if that's your thing. I've got two of them (for two different computers), they're fantastic.

Why does red text appear blurrier on some monitors than others, and why can't I pick this up on my phone camera?
Iβm not familiar with monitors that much, however I suspect that itβs because the Alienware looks clearer because of itβs a higher-PPI display. Also itβs a different surface panel construction. Your LG 34GN850 is 3440Γ1440 at 34β, so the pixel density is relatively low and the pixels are physically

Monitor upgrade?
I upgraded to this monitor from an LG 34GN850 IPS panel. And I must day, as much as I love this OLED colours and pure blacks and the 240 Hz with instand response times. The 800 curve I love as well. There are definitely some items I dislike a lot. First, text on this screen compared to my IPS is lik

Just completed a Latium run in the Anno 117 Demo, here's my little town
Hello ari, no problem, I use an LG 34GN850-B (I think it has a slightly different name outside Europe), ultrawide IPS 1440p @ 144hz (overclockable to 160hz but I won't bother). Amazing monitor so far! Anno 1800 looks absolutely incredible on it and the extra real state is great for management/strate
