Picked up a LG 34gn850-b last year for like $330 or something and can't regretted it. It's no OLED, to be sure, but I've no desire to upgrade at all. And I say this as someone who fully appreciates OLED panels. I adore my LG OLED television in my home theater setup. 1440P UW is a good sweet spot for

Bought OLED for hype; feeling like my old IPS was better

I should probably make a post explaining everything in more detail, I just rarely have so many free hours to spend to write it all up. But here are a few short points: If we are talking about absolute best screens where production costs do not matter, like professional reference monitors that cost $

What is the best monitor for productivity and gaming. I want to avoid OLED for now. So best IPS or miniLED I suppose?

LG 34GN850-B if you can find one

34 “ IPS Ultra wide gaming monitor suggestions 3440 x 1440 Resolution

Have this exact request and it's infuriating. All recommendations are just discontinued stuff that's no longer available as of about mid this year. The few ultrawide IPSes that remain all have either insufficient refresh rates/response times and/or ghosting issues. Hell I've seen recommendations on

Hunting down curved 34" IPS monitors in 2025

I've been using a LG 34GN850-B that I picked up last Black Friday for something like $280 or so if I'm remembering correctly. Not sure what they're going for now or if stock even exists. That said, for the price, it's a hell of a monitor. UWQHD, 144Hz (160Hz OCed). It's years old tech at this point

Monitor ultrawide

My 5k2k LG 40U990A fan noise is:

So I have the beauty for 3 days now. Two weekend days and one day work from home. Loving it ! Just that bit bigger than my LG 34GN850-B 3440x1440 that I wanted. And the extra real-estate is awesome. Especially the hight; can see quite a bit more now. Image-wise I think its about the same; which is g

Does Dell send used stock and class them as new?

Bro return it and never buy a Dell or alienware product again. I got a m16 r2 and since day 1 its only been trouble. On my main build I've been using an lg 34gn850 for like 5 years now and its still as good as day 1.

I NEED HELP BUYING MY FIRST ULTRAWIDE!

You might want to check out the LG UltraGear 34GN850-B. It’s a 34" curved IPS ultrawide at 3440×1440, great for both gaming and video editing thanks to the strong color quality and high refresh rate. Used or open-box deals sometimes show up around your budget. Fwiw my mate and I found RedditRecs whi
