I have that Alienware AW2725D sitting in my room waiting to be returned. I couldn't stand the QD-OLED fringing. Some people don't find it bothersome, others like myself find it unbearable. I'm currently using an LG 27GS95QE WOLED and I'm waiting for the recently released 280Hz Tandem WOLEDs to becom

matte daily-driver for Excel/code (LG 27GS95QE) OLED monitors with low pixel density such as 27-inch QHD ones aren’t quite suitable for text-related work though, due to OLED-specific subpixel layouts incompatible with subpixel text-antialiasing algorithms such as ClearType. Note that Medium.com is n

i was in the exact same spot a few months ago. the lg 27gs95qe is a beast for the pro - it's a 27" 4k oled with 240hz and hdmi 2.1, so you're fully set for any game. the colors and blacks are just insane coming from an ips. another one to check is the asus pg27aqdm, also 27" 4k oled with great respo

I do nothing special. I typically enable Wayland commands for HDR. VRR enabled, screen tearing off. Im having a smooth AF experience with the same games. Even RT is the same as W11 now with Mesa 26. I just did CB2077 benchmarks and with RT on i actually beat W11 by a frame. Thats been unheard of in

It depends on your size preference. Objectively a 42inch C5 or C4 will be the best. If you want a smaller monitor any 32 INCH 165HZ QDOLED monitor is fine (PS5 doesn't use over 120hz but 165 hz are the lowest and cheapest 32 inches you can get.) If you want even smaller you can get a 27 inch 240hz O

Hi! I ended up opening my wallet a bit more and just going for a cheap Oled. Went with the LG 27GS95QE. I know, everyone keeps doing that, sorry. About those 2 monitors tho, the AOC is still a solid choice, and probably better than the TCL I think. I had another redditor find the AOC for some 160€ t

Okay, that's terrifying that we were in the same situation! Sorry for the two-week reply, but if we did the same thing, it's very possible you also decided on a 2K OLED ;D That's what I did and it was probably the best choice I could have made. The 2K does a truly amazing job, and looking at my frie

For that budget, you can get some really good OLED options now. The LG 27GS95QE is a fantastic 27-inch 240hz WOLED that should be around £600. I'd also look at the ASUS ROG Swift PG27AQDM, it's a bit older but might be on sale. Both are 1440p and perfect for gaming. Just keep in mind the standard OL
