Have you actually looked into LPCAMM2 memory? That stuff ins pure unobtainium. Apart from one lone Thinkpad (P1 Gen7) it hasn't been adopted by the industry so far, and there's zero aftermarket availabilty. Even Lenovo won't sell you modules to upgrade as they don't have any. The ram alone is worth over 1/3rd of your purchase price, so yeah, it's a pretty darn good deal. the speakers on my P1 gen 7 are the best in a laptop I've heard, period. And I review laptops on my youtube channel.

E14 Gen7 (current model) has two m.2 slots when equipped with either AMD or Intel Raptor Lake /Arrow Lake (Core Ultra 2xx -U and -H) CPUs. The otherwise vastly preferable Lunar Lake (efficiency!) Intel models don't, also those have soldered RAM (links to psref spec sheets) P1 Gen7 is the outgoing mo
