Rokit 5 G4

Thatvlooks nowhere near KRK Rokit 5 (G4). Totally different placement and shapevof bottom front port, different placement of logo etc.

For the controller, I think the DDJ-FLX4 from pioneer might be a good choice. For the speakers I might say KRK ROKIT 5 G5 $500 is a good starting point. Check Facebook marketplace, or whatever they might use around you, and you can probably get a deal.

I use KRK Rokit 5's and I think they sound pretty damn good. I'll add that my monitors are several generations old and I have no plans on upgrading them. I use very similar Edifier bookshelf speakers for my home DJ setup. They've been good. But as someone else said, if you could get some larger 5" speakers, like KRK Rokits, maybe used or on marketplace, they'd have better bass and would be better for bringing to parties later.

I have my KRK Rokit 5's G2 on smart plugs connected to Alexa. So I just say "Alexa, turn on/off speakers". Been using them like this, well over 7 years now.

The presonus Erie 5 inch driver models are pretty nice, you can find plenty of desk clamping stands to mount them. If you have a smaller space, there is built in functions to help mitigate the reflections. They go pretty low, and sound really good on the lower end compared to my previous 3.5 inches
