It’s a good table. I too like automatic tables as I’ve had my Dual 1219 for over 20 years. As far as speakers go, for $1200USD (about £890) you can get Klipsch The Sevens which are fantastic speakers and have a built in phono stage. Just get stands for them and you’ve got a great setup

There can be made a good argument for either.Active speakers can be very convenient for bluetooth speakers, soundbars or smaller stereo setups (Klipsch the fives, Sevens for instance). I have a pair of open box Klipsch The Sevens that I got for around $700 off ebay and I would argue that it would be unrealistic to expect anything better than that for the price. Are Klipsch The Nines any more reliable than The Sevens? I want to get the Sevens but I’m just coming across way too many people who’ve had unit failures with them. I’m considering the Nines since they seem to not have all the bad reviews but I also can’t see how the reliability would differ much be
