Omen 17

May not be the same, but my 2022 HP Omen 17.3 Gaming Laptop has keys on it that ONLY function on Windows using the HP software. I have a total of 7 keys that are basically useless on Linux Mint. Strangely, the Windows key is usable, hitting it and the E key together will bring up nemo.

Maybe unrelated, I have this: HP OMEN 17-DB0003NL 17" Ryzen 9 4 GHz - SSD 1 TB - 32GB - Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 It was ok but I improved massively when I installed a (second ) 2tb NVM M2 drive with a fresh win 11 installation. Before that it had several quirks all went away.

man the hp support is the worst.. they dont know how their own product works and they cant even redirect you to somebody who does. the amount of issues ive had with my "premium" "high-end" omen 17 is ridiculous. i will never forgive myself for wasting so much money on something so openly bad... stuf
