I own a p1 and an S4U 12k, I like the P1 much better so far. I have only had it for a week though so it's still early TBH. I would compare it to the S4U 16k ( $480), the Heygears RS ($599), and the GK3 ($769). You'll have to decide which is the "best" for you, all three have pros and cons.
