What's the next logical Resin printer after the Msrs 5 ultra?
Probably to quit resin printing. It’s a pain in the ass, and that’s coming from someone who has bought his 7th resin printer just this week. They all have issues and are flawed in some way. The older Saturn 3 is less problematic as it doesn’t have problematic features like auto-leveling/force sensin

We are looking to get a couple of resin printers for our engineering department.
FDM printing experience really doesn’t translate to resin, you might as well accept you are starting over. My understanding is Formlabs is the only real option as a commercial grade resin printing system. Everything below that is ‘consumer’ grade and comes with a whole host of problems, challenges,

Debating between an Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra or a HeyGears Reflex RS
I've spent 3 years dialing in my resin printers... someday I might actually print something I want to keep. If you plan to do anything outside of the normal niche of miniatures and figures, the S4U is not the printer you want. Do to the force sensor dictating build plate position, and needing to be

Is the HeyGears RS worth the price difference over the Saturn 4 ultra 16k
abs-like 3.0+ (other resin) on the PARP10 setting (Heygears resin setting) You can use other resins but you can't adjust the settings (currently). So you need to find one that just 'works'. Although there's rumors that they'll be unlocking the RS series soon.

Printer recommendations on 2026?
There are maybe 4 or 5 good quality affordable options right now but each has a downside. These are the models I’d consider & why I’d be hesitant. Heygears Reflex RS Turbo - too locked down and upgrading for the heated vat is an extra expense. Messy flat build plate. Anycubic P1/P1 Max - I’m unsure

Reflex Turbo vs RS Turbo?
The RS series (Turbo / non-Turbo) is planned in the next few months to get an update of Blueprint slicer and/or firmware with support for 3rd party resin. The Reflex 1/2 is not planned at present to receive such platform opening. On opening up the RS platform to 3rd party resin, Heygears has not bee

Need some advice on a resin machine
The closest thing to a Bambu in resin is Heygears. The M7s main problem stems from auto-leveling and not having the tools to deal with the downsides, namely per layer settings and any sort of Z adjustment. The M7s other main problem is just Anycubic's poor QC. All of the auto-leveling printers on th

Printer recommendations on 2026?
There is no 3rd party resin integration on any Heygears. You pick one of their profiles and see if it works with your resin. The RS and RS Turbo differ in the LCDs. Both have 8K LCDs, but the Turbo has an amber polarizer, this allows the Turbo to render significantly more detail. Check out Dennys Wa

Saturn 4 Ultra 16K Owners: What Should Elegoo Fix/Add in the Saturn 5?
Return to the Saturn 2/3 formula... Saturn 3 with the amber 8K LCD. Fix AA, especially with GOO. Built in heater, chamber heater probably so it warms the build plate as well. Nice to have: flip UV cover. I help a lot of people troubleshoot printers, and there's been a lot of that ever since the Satu

Should I get the 3, 3 ultra or 4 ultra?
The Ultra has a different UV light source system (mirror in the path) which is the same as Phrozens. Both printers have severe drop off of UV uniformity outside the central 'square' of the LCD. I know someone who thoroughly tested theirs and had 32% UV uniformity. The S3 adopts the same design as th
