Chair recommendations for WFH

Well, came to recommend a Herman Miller. I just can’t imagine you can find something better for her back with that budget. Admittedly I don’t love the style of the Aeron myself either. I prefer the flexible approach of the Cosm. I have degenerative disc disorder, and during “flair ups” my Cosm is th

Anyone else cheaped out on something and paid the price later?

Cute furniture is my biggest vice 🥲 I oftentimes have the opposite regret - spent too much on a piece of designer furniture when I could have gotten a comparable option on Amazon or something. That said, I agree that a sturdy office chair is totally worth it, especially if you work from home a lot.

Warning: Terrible Support and Communication

Agreed on Embody. Tried at a store as I was about to purchase during sale, but ended up being unimpressed by a few things. The back felt like I had to constantly adjust the tension knob and it never felt "right" to me even when I thought it was dialed. Flat for me too, and often felt like it was pok

Herman Miller Cosm in India — worth paying extra vs Steelcase Karman?

i’ve spent time in both the Cosm and Karman, and for long sitting hours, the Cosm’s suspension back is genuinely something else—it adapts to your movements in a way the Karman doesn’t quite match. that extra $230 feels worth it for the longevity and the comfort if you're in it all day. the Karman is

WFH gorls - I’ve inquired previously but not heard much. Who has chair reccs?

I have a Herman Miller Cosm chair I got fairly cheap used. It's GREAT! It's self adjusting so it adjusts every time I move around. I have an electric standing desk and usually I need to stand by mid-afternoon with my old chair, but I sat in the Cosm for 8 straight hours the other day and barely noti

Looking for the Best Office Chair for Lower Back Pain Mainly

It absolutely is not the only answer. The Aeron is very nice, but they aren't for everyone and they aren't the only brand/line worth looking at. Herman Miller makes the Aeron (all mesh), Cosm (all mesh, "super ergonomic"), and Verus (mesh back, fabric seat) that are all good. Steelcase makes the Kar

What are the Best office chairs after trying so many uncomfortable ones?

I have a Herman Miller Sayl and a Herman Miller Cosm and far and away would recommend the Cosm. But I also hate a traditional seating position so you may like Aeron better.

SteelCase Leap V2 the chair for mostly "chilling"?

For chill I wouldn't buy office chair. Maybe humanscale freedom or Herman miller cosm. Leap is good for tasking not lounging. It doesn't have good headrest, even from atlas. Padding is intenntinaly too thin. And aggressive lumbar makes it worse
