Cute furniture is my biggest vice 🥲 I oftentimes have the opposite regret - spent too much on a piece of designer furniture when I could have gotten a comparable option on Amazon or something. That said, I agree that a sturdy office chair is totally worth it, especially if you work from home a lot.

I have the Herman Miller Cosm chair and I love it. The dark blue colour I have would really fit your vibe. It’s less adjustable than the Aeron (i.e. no adjustments at all!) but it fits me perfectly.
