Herman Miller. Sayl, Mirra 2, Aeron, Embody, Cosm. Never skimp on anything between you and the ground. Shoes, tyres, mattresses, chairs, and airplanes.

Things that are on the pricey side but worth spending it for because of amount of use and longevity:* Herman Miller chairs. Had an Aeron for 15 years before it was time for something new (still have it as a spare) and upgraded to the Cosm* Original Switch, TV console plus handheld for travel is an abs

DWR outlet in Brooklyn has a lot of Herman miller options (aeron, cosm, knoll etc.) they have 40% off their sale prices right now and will ship for $125. You can call if there’s a specific chair you are wondering if they have in stock before making the trip. No returns so check it over for defects e

Well, came to recommend a Herman Miller. I just can’t imagine you can find something better for her back with that budget. Admittedly I don’t love the style of the Aeron myself either. I prefer the flexible approach of the Cosm. I have degenerative disc disorder, and during “flair ups” my Cosm is th

Cute furniture is my biggest vice 🥲 I oftentimes have the opposite regret - spent too much on a piece of designer furniture when I could have gotten a comparable option on Amazon or something. That said, I agree that a sturdy office chair is totally worth it, especially if you work from home a lot.

The back felt like I had to constantly adjust the tension knob and it never felt "right" to me even when I thought it was dialed. Flat for me too, and often felt like it was pok

i’ve spent time in both the Cosm and Karman, and for long sitting hours, the Cosm’s suspension back is genuinely something else—it adapts to your movements in a way the Karman doesn’t quite match. that extra $230 feels worth it for the longevity and the comfort if you're in it all day. the Karman is

Herman Miller all the way. De har mange modeller og du kan godt finde noget lækkert brugt i den prisklasse. Sayl fås ofte fra smarte kontorer der er blevet lukket. Ellers synes jeg Cosm er mega fed

Herman Miller and Steelcase are two companies that make chairs that are actually worth the cost to re-upholster, especially if it's only the seat. I'm happy that my Herman Miller Cosm is entirely mesh, like the Aeron.

The Herman Miller Cosm pretty much saved my back after years of cheap desk chairs.
