Haworth fern fist impressions

Very nice! I've had a Fern at my desk for about 3 years. They're amazing chairs and I recommend them to a lot of folks that are in the market for a high-end chair. I love mine to pieces and now, pretty much every other chair I sit in doesn't feel quite right. I love how it cradles my back. Perhaps m

Free Leap V1 and a $39 Haworth Very

Jackpot. You can very likely buy the plastic lumbar piece that goes in the Very directly from Haworth for like 15 bucks. These tend to break but they are kind of important on the Haworth mesh chairs (and IMHO, much better back support than the Fern, light years better than the Leap lumbar support).

Best chair for a 6โ€™4 guy sitting 9โ€“10 hours a day?

I am 6'3 and ~200lbs. The best fitting chair I've found was the Haworth Fern. Very high back and long seat pad. Paired with an Atlas headrest if you like to lean back.

I really like Haworth chairs. The fern is really great on my back.

Got this for $100 from market place but did not work for me.

The Leap seat is basically the most plush seat on an actual ergonomic chair. It's the GOAT IMHO but their backrest is shit. It sounds like the actual issue is you like to slouch. Most ergonomic chairs encourage you to sit upright, because that's what they're built to do. The Haworth Fern is a little

Steelcase Leap v2 is not for me, what next?

I didn't like the Leap either. Felt the same issues as you. It actually gave me lots of pain. I tried the Herman Miller Sayl for 2 years and it was okay, more comfortable than the Leap but the back isn't very tall so there's no support in the shoulder. I think some of the chairs are designed for lar

What do you think about the Libernovo Omni? :-)

Your point of view is very interesting. Do you think it's better than an Aeron, Embody, or Haworth? I feel it provides better lumbar support. I don't see the point of the massage function, but overall, I notice my back is also "more supported" by the backrest, especially when using the footrest. Is

Got a Steelcase Gesture like new from an office supply store for 600, but iโ€™m not loving itโ€ฆ

No, there's plenty of other high end chairs that are more movement oriented. The gesture is a pretty "stiff" chair. Something with a hybrid back design like the Haworth fern could be good, or even something as out there as the HAG Capisco

Best time to buy Aeron chair

Does it have to be a Herman Miller chair or an office chair that has back adjustability? Aeron's are sort of a specific chair as with it's mesh back and mesh chair, you have to sit in a certain position in order to work. I have a Haworth Fern right now and it's really good for my back.

I don't fit well in a Crandall Steelcase Leap V2

Yea unfortunately they don't get longer with the leap Plus, just wider. I moved to a Haworth Fern for a longer seat pad and a taller back, but the build quality is considerably worse than the Steelcase. I don't think this chair would support your weight. Haworth Soji XL is rated for 600lbs but it's
