Maybe a hot take, but why not just buy another Google Nest WiFi system? Since you know it works, but your existing set just started to fail. If you buy the same system (new or like new condition) then it should work well for you.

I have a 2nd Gen Nest wifi router and 2 more Nest Routers as access points, both backhauled. I have all the Nest routers on smart plugs that reboot each morning 15 min. apart and it's been rock solid for 2-3 years. I have 40+ IoT plugs, cameras, bulbs as clients on the Nest Mesh.
