100% I never had an issue with my original Google Wi-Fi or Nest Pro when using a wired backhaul.

google/nest wifi point needs a google/nest wifi router to work. 3rd gen nest wifi stuff is not backwards compatible with 1st or 2nd gen, id suggest the 2nd gen router.

there are many. i have a 2br apt in noisy dense urban environment, have had success with nest wifi router 2nd gen (AC2200) with a small unmanaged netgear switch like gs305 or gs308 to add more ethernet cable ports. all set up next to tv so tv, media server, hue hub etc all hard wired via switch and

Maybe a hot take, but why not just buy another Google Nest WiFi system? Since you know it works, but your existing set just started to fail. If you buy the same system (new or like new condition) then it should work well for you.

Dell XPS 8940 Most devices are connected to Google Nest WiFi, which is easier to mange via Google app. However, desktop PC runs stock trading software and I don't want the device to compete data with other devices within Google Nest router, that is the only PC connected to CR1000B directly.

Buy a good quality mesh system. Put the SL router in bypass mode and place your mesh in order to extend them to the second home. I personally use the Google Nest WiFi Pro.

My turn to chime in with yet another solution since none (and I tried 90% of them) of the above worked for me. For context: I was trying to factory reset my Google Nest Wifi Router (the one that plugs into the modem, not the mesh access point / signal booster) and set it up from scratch. I could nev

It looks like the cables that came with my older Google wifi and newer nest wifi routers and APs. I am satisfied with their speed as I am getting my advertised internet speed of 600Mbps at my new home and gig internet at my old home. I don't really test LAN speeds but if I'm getting advertised WAN I

Almost any mesh system is "beginner-friendly." Watch some YouTube reviews and see what feels good. If they're already in the Amazon smart device ecosystem then Eero might be the way to go? Or Google Wifi if they're Google Home folks. Think creatively about above/below placement. If an access point c

I have a 2nd Gen Nest wifi router and 2 more Nest Routers as access points, both backhauled. I have all the Nest routers on smart plugs that reboot each morning 15 min. apart and it's been rock solid for 2-3 years. I have 40+ IoT plugs, cameras, bulbs as clients on the Nest Mesh.
