100% I never had an issue with my original Google Wi-Fi or Nest Pro when using a wired backhaul.

Had Google WiFi before, spent two days troubleshooting everything under the sun for a similar issue. Pulled the power on the entire mesh and plugged it back in, speed fixed. If you haven't tried that already then do it. Their WiFi equipment is shit and in my experience might inexplicably just glitch

I'm gonna toss an edit in here. There's no problem with the Ethernet port of the computer. The problem is on the Google nest wifi router. For some reason the wired ethernet port has issues on those routers, there's a bunch of issues brought up and no real fix. Yesterday I was trying a bunch of stuff

When they ONLY do SW, then they do OK. I just recently replaced the Google/Nest Wifi router point setup.

Maybe a hot take, but why not just buy another Google Nest WiFi system? Since you know it works, but your existing set just started to fail. If you buy the same system (new or like new condition) then it should work well for you.

I’m having the exact same issue. Nest doorbell 2nd gen went offline and could not get it to update. Spent hours and support with google and they are no help. Got a 3rd gen doorbell and got it working with a separate router today for a few hours and it’s showing offline again now. I’m at a loss using
