ELI5: Is there a device that can take a hardwired internet connection and project Wi-Fi?
AP is the answer. For a 5th wheel I’d suggest a GL.iNet travel router. The slate AX or the Slate 7 are solid. You can set them up in access point mode or router mode. There’s some learning that’s needed but it’ll be worth your while.

Tech question: going to be in Thailand several months found an apartment to rent and they have internet included. There’s an Ethernet cord and wifi but I would prefer to use a private router that I can put a VPN on?
Any of their travel router range. Even the cheapest one has vpn installed but you will need membership with NordVPN or something then add the username and password in the router interface.
