Do you hate your UTR?
I don’t believe that the UTR will allow you to modify its MAC address, and you’ll need that as the cruise ship filters out any MAC addresses that are from a router manufacturer. Had this happen to me many years ago with a netgear travel router, never could get it going. However, I just went on a cru

travel router with an ATT cell phone questions about data usage?
this depends on how att detects the traffic. usb tethering to a travel router sometimes shows up as phone data instead of hotspot data because the ttl matches your phone. try the GL.iNet GL-SFT1200 since it has a 'ttl fix' feature specifically for this. to test, check your att account data usage, th

LTE Backup actually worked during power failure when I was remote and needed emergency access….but then…
I use a "GL.iNet GL-SFT1200 (Opal)" $25 as my WAN2 fall over. Set-up to auto connect to any of the 2 cellular hotspots that may be on (it supports looking for multiple which is a great feature for fall-over for the fall-over) . I just need to remember for android hotspot to also turn off the phones

Which model to smb share USB?
GL-SFT1200 (Opal) isn't listed on the page. https://docs.gl-inet.com/router/jp/3/tutorials/file_sharing/ And GL.iNet GL-MT300N-V2 (Mango) doesn't have the option... This is not working.
