Help :( How can Metro Awakening have such bad performance on a RTX 4060 laptop while it runs smoothly on Quest 3 (even on low settings)???

You misunderstood everything. You aren't changing your main router, wiring a cable from your main router or getting a huge device. The setup I'm talking about (and that I use) is to get a router just for your headset and that you directly plug on your PC via Ethernet. I generally recommend the GL.iN

Advice on travel router

GL.inet travel router. Under $50 here in Canada https://www.amazon.ca/GL-iNet-GL-SFT1200-Secure-Travel-Router/dp/B09N72FMH5/ They have fancier versions but this works good enough for me. I also travel with an Android stick so you just need to connect the travel router to the hotel's wifi or plug it

Passenger Prince never felt soo good

I would the one I got specifically was GL.iNet GL-SFT1200. I have T-Mobile for cell service and all I have to do is plug up the router to a USB-C power source and you can either tether or connect your phone’s hotspot to the router.. the setup was pretty simple and straightforward!

Streaming Service on Private Aircraft

This is really quite simple with your own self-hosted VPN and about $70 worth of gear. I use a similar setup for streaming service and although not in an aircraft, I travel with Starlink and face the same issues. The GLi.Net routers have a very easy to use interface for creating both a VPN server fo

Do you hate your UTR?

I don’t believe that the UTR will allow you to modify its MAC address, and you’ll need that as the cruise ship filters out any MAC addresses that are from a router manufacturer. Had this happen to me many years ago with a netgear travel router, never could get it going. However, I just went on a cru

Who is waiting to the Steam Frame and who doesnt care?

Kevin refers to a top-notch "bang-for-buck" router that supports WiFi 6E. It's really well priced, but the name comes from that the router looks like Kevin, from the Minions movies LOL. Also to inform others, this is the suggested list of best routers per VirtualDesktop Discord: (Preferred BE/Wifi 7

Beware…

I keep seeing people compare it to the gli.net, Ubiquiti did that in one of their videos I no longer seem to have the link to, so they kinda brought that on themselves. Everything since then is a combination of us not letting them forget that and their stupid plastic soap bar being hot garbage by co

Starlink Mini & Wired Devices

Get a GL.iNet GL-SFT1200... they are great little low powered routers that allow you to share a Wi-Fi signal connection to 2-wired devices. Has a lot of great features as well.

Running sound for a small non-profit. Will Rockville make my ears hate me more than my bank account?

I would think its going to make you hate your life with the wireless, but it might work out? Personally I wouldn't introduce wireless mics into the setup before I'd get a wireless mixer. And XR12 would be the basic one I'd look at. If you can spring for the XR18 you will get a few more technical opt

Is a wireless bridge what I'm looking for?

The GL.iNet GL-SFT1200 is probably the device I'd recommend for this as the most cost effective I'm aware of. They market it as a travel router, but it can be used as a simple wireless to ethernet bridge if you don't turn on any of the VPN functionality.
