Hi, thanks for the concern! After rigorous testing, the CPU of GEEKOM A9 Max stays around 70°C under full load, and the SSD never approaches the 80°C overheating threshold. We also use thermal pads on the SSD to help with cooling. So far, no issues with SSD or memory overheating. Hope this helps!

The paradox here is memory. To achieve parody with Apple's unified memory support & the absence of LPCAMM, like Apple soldered LPDDR5/LPDDR5x memory produces the closest maximum bandwidth. Otherwise one is stuck with slower, higher power consumption/heat dissipation SODIMM. Geekom's only LPDDR5x mPC
