A9 Max

I bought a GEEKOM A9 Max for myself to game on. My previous mini is good, still is, but my games like Sims and Fortnite were not doing so well anymore on it with the recent updates. Yeah, it's been great though for repurposing older M1 hardware and if you want a break from the ecosystem, it's an option. I have an older Beelink SER5 that I put cachyos on after getting a newer Windows 11 minipc and it's been pretty good. Good enough that I may soon install it over the Windows 11

I'm quite happy with my geekom A9 mega (same strix halo with 128 GB) but it's hard to run certain stuff due to low general support. All goes to the damn Nvida and cuda.

On the webpage you linked it says they support Linux. From the NotebookCheck review They are using Mediatek MT7925 which has kernel support since kernel 6.7, other than that the rest is pretty "standard" components.
