Watches? What are people wearing out there.
Garmin Fenix 7X Pro Solar. The F7 was the first with touchscreen, which makes using maps much easier. And, battery life is outstanding

Your favourite smartwatch?
I used to be in your shoes. Battery life is still Apple Watch’s Achilles heal. The Garmin Fenix 8 is pointlessly expensive So I have TWO recommendations for you: Garmin Fenix 7: I still can’t come up with a reason to get the 8. The 7 does everything you need it to but… So does the Garmin Fenix 5! Fi

F7X Pro Solar to Enduro 3?
Agreed, I own (and love) the Enduro 3, and I'm getting a little over 3 actual weeks of battery time with running and using gps 6-7 hours a week (spread across 5 days). Which is incredible for my use-case, and way longer than my 47mm Fenix 7 had.

Bit disappointed in Fenix 8 (coming from Fenix 6+7)
I‘m also disappointed, coming from the 7. Some, at least for me important stuff doesn’t even work at all. Amazon Music for example cannot be registered to the watch. Garmin Support takes weeks now to figure it out. Seems to be a general problem with the fenix 8 MIPS in 47mm. Also maps+ doesn’t rende

Recommendations for mid-level fitness watch?
Yeah I have a fenix 7 and love it. I don't use half of the stuff it can do but wanted a watch with music and decent GPS that I didn't need to charge every day.

WICH ONE
To summarize my experience: I also came from a Fenix 7, specifically the Sapphire Solar. I used it constantly, as I live in a mountainous area and really valued the map function. I wanted to try to survive without Garmin; they're incredibly expensive, and 90% of their app store consists of paid ap

Are their Grit X2 metrics reliable?
I've been a Garmin user until the V3. Recently went on a run with someone with a Fenix 7 Pro in a city on a route I've done dozens of times. My GPS data was perfect. More accurate than any time with my single-band Garmin or my buddy's dual-band 7 Pro.

Fenix vs coros
Can’t be coros for battery life. I have a fenix 7 pro. No issues. Both will have issues in heavy woods areas over long periods of time. Speaking from a good bit of use in the white mountains. With the way garmin is going with pay to play. I’d personally opt for coros if i was buying today

What kind of watch do you wear?
+1 for Garmin. Have a Fenix 7 solar. I wear it daily and have shocked at how well it stands up to scratches on metal etc. For a color touch screen watch, I worry every time that it or bezel will be scratched. Nothing so far. As others have said, the solar is worth it. Do not get the smallest size as

7 Pro Solar Sapphire and 8 Solar Sapphire
Isn't Enduro3 cheaper than f8? That'd be my preference. I had my F7PRO SS since before Enduro3, but if I were to change, it'd be for e3. I'm actually considering moving away from garmin, I don't need all the features, basic health and topo maps/navigation would be ideal for me as that's what I mainl
