As the moderator of r/Fujifilm_X100VI, I've noticed ongoing discussions over time on other subs about soft shutter release buttons (particularly the screw-in accessories like the classic red ones) and claims that they will damage or "destroy" the shutter mechanism on the X100VI or other Fujifilm cam

I had just placed my preorder yesterday for the new sand beige version, I think it looks great. I’m actually coming over from the Fujifilm system and the X-S10. I’ve been eyeing OM system for a while now, super intrigued by its compact form factor, IPX rated weather sealing, and computational featur

I also contemplated these very same options, and I chose the X-T5. The X-T5 is more than all the features you listed, it is access to the entire Fujifilm X-System. The body, sensor and user experience of the X-T5 are only half the reason for my purchase; the X Mount prime lenses were the other. The

If I could upvote this several times, i would have😅 My X-E5 has just arrived today, and i can tell you already there’s not a single drop of regret. I have the Xpro2 and I just sold the XT5 to buy the XE5 in its place. Many comments already told you to get the Xpro3 for its “pro features” but lets be

It's from iWoodstore. Not sure I'd recommend it; looks much better in photos than the quality IRL. I mean, it's fine ... it just isn't holding up that well.. The wood is already fading pretty, scratched (understandable, it's real wood), etc and it's only been on the camera since July last year. TBF,

Judging from your photos, i think that you would be quite happy with a Fujifilm camera. One great thing about the X-series cameras is that they all use the same lens mount, so you can easily upgrade the body while keeping all of your lenses. As for the body itself, others have already given you some

Hmm then to be honest I would go Nikon Zf. It has film recipes as well, built quality is way above Fujifilm. It has fantastic big EVF and best in the market manual focus assists to shoot with brilliant Voigtlander lenses. I wouldn't buy XE5/X-T50 for EVF experience. Choose X-T5 for better EVF if it

It’s a combination of a lot of things, the EVF is worse, no OVF, buttons/controls all feel cheap, body feels cheap, has a film sim dial which I had on my x-t50 and didn’t like. And not having a 23mm f2 is a huge loss. If you want a zoom lens then x-t5 is a better choice. IMO x-e5 as a package doesn’

I guess OP just needs to prioritise: Want film sim SooC? Then Fujifilm. Want (fairly) compact? Then X100VI or X-E5. Want interchangeable lenses? Then X-T5 or X-E5. Want something that doesn’t feel like a toy? Then X100VI or X-T5. 🤷♂️
