Autofocus, hands down the OM-1II will obliterate any Fujifilm at this time. It's not even funny. Fujifilm is plagued with something worse than bad autofocus, false positives. Imagine seeing green AF confirmation squares, finishing a shoot, and coming back to see 30% of your shots are out of focus. B

I also contemplated these very same options, and I chose the X-T5. The X-T5 is more than all the features you listed, it is access to the entire Fujifilm X-System. The body, sensor and user experience of the X-T5 are only half the reason for my purchase; the X Mount prime lenses were the other. The

Even compared to the Z50, I'd say the Fujifilm AF system in their latest cameras leaves something to be desired, especially in terms of reliability (and I say that as someone owned/used Fuji for work from the X-T2 through the X-T5). Agreed there are some enticing Sigma lenses (both FF and APS-C), bu

Trying to sum up you have: delivery/availability issues with some of their newer and hyped (x100VI) gear autofocus issues grain with the X-T4 service problems after poop damage Availability for the x100 was because this thing was hyped. As far as I know, Sony had some similar stock problems with the

I have made the jump from Fuji to NIkon back in 2023, going from an X-H1 to a Z6 (which I still have. I have since moved to micro four thirds for multiple reasons, but I kept the Z6 as a side system when I need full frame). In short, I feel like you will get upgrades in ergonomics, low light perform

I have an X-T4. I love my Fuji -- big fan, don't regret my purchase. I got the XF 150-600mm and the 1.4x TC specifically because I was interested in transitioning to wildlife. The lens is light for its size and has good reach. I've taken some great photos with the combo. That being said, if wildlife

Most everyone in here will tell you to go Sony, especially for wedding photography. I’m biased as a Fujifilm wedding photographer but I’ve been using them for over 5 years and have been very happy with my results. It’s not the most powerful camera out there. And you have to get used to its autofocus

One of the following setup would help you. A7 IV or A7R V + 200-600mm - Sony X-T5, X-H2 (flagship models) or XS20, XT30 (cheaper) + 70-300mm or 100-400mm if you want more reach - Fujifilm R5 or R6 Mark II + 100-500mm - Canon Z8 or Z6 II + 180-600mm - Nikon I personally use Fuji XS20 with 70-300. It’

I'm a X-T5 owner and I would stay away from the X-T5. I believe the X-T5 is an orphaned camera by Fujifilm. They broke the AF with a firmware update, and the only fix was to bring AF back to a previous firmware version. There have been no meaningful updates for years. I like my X-T5, but I believe i
