New Video: The Best Espresso Grinder Under £250

I see alot of people having trouble with the fellow opus, thankfully, someone in the video comments pointed out about the alignment. you're supposed to push down the blue ring and then adjust the outer ring. then for the next time, just move the outer ring to 1 to reset the alignment and then you ca

Opus 2 Conical 48mm coming soon

I’ve been testing our dev units and consistently have seen retention at 0.1g or less - usually less. From a coffee nerd / ex barista standpoint (not just a “hi I’m Hailie from Fellow,” standpoint), I am beyond excited for opus 2.

Fellow Opus gen 2?!

Correct. When I joined Fellow in November of 2020, Opus was already designed. There was a lot of stuff I wanted to change but couldn't. This is the blank piece of paper version of what I wished we could do. The grinder for the money is ridiculous.

Grinder recommendation

This video is probably a good starting point https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7xGhGtvYIs Probably the Baratza Encore ESP or Fellow Opus are your best options

Espresso afficionados

If you’re serious about coffee, you need to get a burr grinder. We started with a ceramic hand mill! They’re very budget and space friendly, though obviously it adds a bit of time. We’ve since upgraded to the Fellow Opus Gen 2

God forbid a man wants to enjoy some new coffee

Exactly the same thing : step 1 : make import and customs artificially more complex so that nothing of quality can ever be procured directly or economically from outside (the same place the dealers, importers source from.lol), this wipes off the chances for competition to local brands step 2 : since

Need reccomendations for an espressor grinder under [$400]

As to the Fellow Opus: its gen2 is coming within the ~next couple of months (it already is listed at Best Buy and Williams Sonoma). If you are at all interested in the Opus, I would wait for the gen2, which looks like it may fix issues that people have had with the gen1.

San Francisco's Fellow Coffee slammed by Trump tariffs

I fucking knew this was gonna happen. A few months ago I bought a Fellow Opus (directly from Fellow, fuck Amazon) because I figured these tariffs were gonna make things more pricy. It was so obvious from the start and I'm seeing the tariffs hit my friends and I already. I absolutely love my Opus and

Fear of missing out

FWIW - I’ve used opus 2 for everything from cupping to cold brew on Aiden, to drip on Aiden, and espresso, and I’ve been pretty stoked on it! I know I’m on the coffee team at Fellow, but please know I’m saying this as a coffee person first and foremost. I’m happy to answer any questions you might ha
