I see alot of people having trouble with the fellow opus, thankfully, someone in the video comments pointed out about the alignment. you're supposed to push down the blue ring and then adjust the outer ring. then for the next time, just move the outer ring to 1 to reset the alignment and then you ca

Had a Fellow Opus, don’t recommend it. The opus is all plastic, for espresso the micro adjustments are unnecessarily complicated and shortly after a year it kicked the bucket and refused to work. Local repair shops have been unable to get the part that got fried. The Ode is pourover or immersion onl

I would never take fellow up on their word without actual product experience. Seen their trackrecord a bit and would not be suprised if the Opus gen 2 has a even bigger retention than the first gen lol

Best thing I did with my fellow opus was sell it on eBay and get a different grinder.

I’ve been testing our dev units and consistently have seen retention at 0.1g or less - usually less. From a coffee nerd / ex barista standpoint (not just a “hi I’m Hailie from Fellow,” standpoint), I am beyond excited for opus 2.

Baratza Encore ESP Pro, it's what cured my rage after the Fellow Opus. Whatever you do, do NOT get an Opus. With the Encore ESP Pro you're good to grind just about anything from a reputable brand for $299.

It’s a solid grinder, but will not work for espresso. I had it and switched to a Fellow Opus—don’t buy the Opus Return the grinder and get the DF54.
