Got a whole bonus shot from one good slap on my Opus

Impressive. I never got that much, but I did the Opus Rock each and every grind until I upgraded to a Eureka. ;) Somebody posted yesterday about a "free" Opus and a commentor linked this review with thorough measurements: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGti7BKKgEg Fellow is saying they are getting

The Ode Gen 2 does not disappoint

That is the fellow opus. But i am unsure if it would be a worthwhile upgrade from the encore. Df64 might be something you would be interested in. Or a varia vs4

Opus on clearance?

The Opus 2 is about to be released very soon, don’t buy the very flawed first gen! Opus 2 on the Fellow website Also it’s supposedly going to be muuuuch better as it was redesigned from the ground up. Here’s info from the man himself

Is the KINGrinder K6 a big step up in terms of grind quality from the Baratza Encore?

I don’t know the Baratza, but have the Kingrinder K6. I had a Fellow Opus and although I usually thought I preferred the K6 results, I didn’t find a huge difference between them once they were both dialled in. The K6 is an excellent budget all around grinder, and manual grinding at pourover size is

Opus vs Encore Esp as first grinder [200£]

A very helpful discussion, and including the Baratza Encore ESP and the Fellow Opus, from espresso guru James Hoffmann: The Best Espresso Grinder Under £250 -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7xGhGtvYIs&t=1301s. Also, note that Fellow is coming out with its next generation of the Opus at any time n

Help me choose a coffee grinder!! [$300 budget]

The new, improved generation of the Fellow Opus comes out shortly, within the next few weeks/month. I'd wait, if interested in the Opus.

DF54 vs Fellow Opus Gen 2

I get the impression the gen1 opus was just wrong in too many aspects and fellow couldnt properly fix it anymore before the launch - from their ads it sounded like the gen2 is pretty much starting from scratch so if you consider an opus, definitely DONT go with gen1 :D

Is it worth getting a Fellow Ode if I already have a DF54?

your DF54 likely has the stock burr, if you use it for espresso - not brew burr. If that burr is similar to the burr in the DF64V, which I know, then it is not a very good burr for pourover, and with another grinder, more pourover focused, you can likely expect some improvement agree that hand grind

Dúvidas a acertar expresso!

Sinceramente pensei muito entre o fellow opus e o baratza por questões de preço. Mas devido à estética optei por comprar o fellow opus. Por acaso na altura não li nada que não era recomendado para expresso

Help me get a manual grinder for my dad

Fellow are launching a v2 Opus grinder this year (I believe) that’s been redesigned from the ground up for espresso and filter, and seems to be targeting a $200 price point. While you’ll get much better bang for your buck with a handgrinder, I think an older parent and their joints may well prefer a
