Grinder upgrade?
As a comment above, think what you expect from coffee. Flat burr - for light and medium roast Conical burr - for dark roast For DF64 if you pick gen 2.5 you are covered. Also in same price rand you can buy: eureka - zero 65 AP, single dose, pro; df64 -> anything closer to this spec:~65mm burr and ze

Feedback on Eureka Mignon Zero 65 All Purpose and others Mignon grinders (£300-£500)
How did y end up w misalign burrs ? Ok so the new mignon zero 65 ap and the single dose pro have way better alignment then the old school version hence the million screws . Next the retention is great in this grinder ( 65 ap zero ) it really a big improvement from my zero 55 mm eureka as that have t

Best espresso setup under [$800]?
Dehlongi stilosa, and use the rest of your money on a grinder. My vote is for a eureka mignon zero 65 ap. But any high end grinder would be fine.

Should I go another direction?
I had the DF54 for 2 weeks before it clogged. Returned it and got the Eureka Mignon Zero AP 65. No regrets as its served me very well, though the cheaper Mignon Zero might have been just as good for me.

I have a Breville Infuser, what grinder should I buy? [$500]
Get a burr grinder, not an inexpensive blade grinder. Many users seem happy with Baratzas, DF54 or DF64 (sometimes branded as Turin). I ended up getting a Eureka Mignon Zero 65 AP which is at the top end of your price range. Many say you should build your espresso setup around your grinder, as it wi

Bad beans? Bad Barista (me)? [GCP & Sette 270]
Light roast is going to be difficult to extract. They are very hip now with the pour over people but you have a Gaggia. You’ll need a grinder suited for light roast espresso. Maybe a DF64 or Eureka Mignon zero 65. For now you can use the pressurized portafilter I haven’t tried that grinder but whole

All chrome looks great, Eureka Mignon Zero
I've got the chrome Eureka Mignon Zero 65 AP to match my Chrome Profitec Pro 500, loving it so far, beats the DF64 by a long shot.

Grinding by cutting is the main reason why Turkish coffee is not so popular
My Eureka Mignon Zero 65 doesn’t get hotter than 38 degrees Celsius while grinding, it can do Turkish grind just fine. Slow electric grinders with flat burrs instead of conical burrs can probably all do it.

Eureka Zero 55 - A "good" grinder? [$230]
I was on the cusp of buying it, but decided to take a punt on a conical burr Chinese grinder on Alibaba that has been getting some good reviews and punches well above its price range. From what I understand, pretty much all the entry and mid-price Eureka grinders use the same materials, engines, etc
