Grinder Recommendations [Under $600]
Don’t worry, we barely know what we are recommending with grinders either so it’s pretty easy to get overwhelmed lol. So a couple thoughts, since you picked the Niche Zero and chocolatey espresso, it sounds like you really favor traditional full bodied espresso from a conical profile. Now in terms o

Help me choose a coffee grinder!! [$500 budget]
I’m not sure you’ll get a grinder at $500 that will do all brew types. I have the Eureka Mignon Zero 65 grinder ($500) that is definitely more espresso-focused but it produces good pour over, etc. it’s just not great. The espresso off it is fantastic though. If you’re asking for a dream set up for a

Best "buy once cry once" grinder under [650€]?
I have the Eureka Mignon Zero 65. It's built like a tank, is surprisingly quiet, and makes nice espresso. I haven't seen any reason to complain about build quality yet. Retention is minimal if you give the bellows a good push every time. It's not a $3000 grinder but it's a lot of grinder for the mon

[$1k budget] grinder upgrade
Eureka Mignon Zero 65 AP. Cheaper than the Oro, with almost no difference. Better than the 55.

Grinder upgrade?
As a comment above, think what you expect from coffee. Flat burr - for light and medium roast Conical burr - for dark roast For DF64 if you pick gen 2.5 you are covered. Also in same price rand you can buy: eureka - zero 65 AP, single dose, pro; df64 -> anything closer to this spec:~65mm burr and ze

[500$] what should I go for?
FWIW, a 200w brushless DC motor is probably stronger and longer lasting than a 250 brushed AC motor. Not to mention the generally higher required power of flat burrs vs conical burrs. In terms of raw value, something like the Turin grinders can offer more if you have a reliable local distributor. CF

Beginner to medium range grinder [250-500 USD]
CF64V is probably currently the best value grinder at $400 USD with a 400w brushless motor, variable rpm, vertically mounted 64mm flat burrs, and all the static and retention reducing features. Eureka Mignon Zero 65 AP is probably the best grinder not made in China (or Taiwan) at $500. Fixed rpm ~30

Grinder suggestions [€500]
Buy an European brand, you get better repairability and support down the road, and you don't pay import duties: Ceado and eureka have options at your budget. At 500 you can get an eureka atom. Or the mignon zero 65 AP for less than 400.
