Spend your entire $500 on a grinder. Look at the Eureka Mignon Zero 65. It has fantastic grind quality and is decently built. Stick to your machine for now and if you want to speed things up get a separate milk frother to use for a while. Save up for a better machine down the road.

Yep, I love my Eureka Mignon Zero. If I was doing it today I would buy the 65 but it wasn't out yet when I bought mine. It just keeps producing such a consistent, fluffy grind day after day without adjustment it makes it really easy in the morning.

Buy an European brand, you get better repairability and support down the road, and you don't pay import duties: Ceado and eureka have options at your budget. At 500 you can get an eureka atom. Or the mignon zero 65 AP for less than 400.
