AI auto-tracking webcams feel like cheating for IRL streamers… am I being a boomer?
I mean I kinda thought the same thing until I actually tried one (got the emeet pixy for like $100). Honestly the tracking isn't even that noticeable to viewers, it just means i dont have to worry about staying perfectly still at my desk anymore. like i can lean back, grab something, whatever and im

New Thinkpad laptop
ThinkPads are solid, but if you end up using it for lots of calls or streaming, I switched from the built-in cam to an emeet pixy because the tracking and image consistency felt more stable in my desk setup. Still, test the stock webcam first since for basic use it’s usually fine

Best webcams for streams? (Affordable-higher price)
emeet c960 is solid if youre on a budget, works great with obs. if you want something better the emeet pixy has dual cameras and ai tracking, pretty good middle ground before jumping to expensive stuff

Is it worth getting a DLSR for streaming vs a webcam is 2025?
Webcam is way smarter unless you're already doing photography, dslr overkill and battery drain sucks for long streams. Emeet Pixy honestly bridges that gap if you want flexibility, dual camera ai ptz lets you switch angles without moving gear.

Webcam recommendation’s
I've just got an emeet pixy around $100. honestly solid for the budget, dual camera ai ptz gives the flexibility for youtube and streams, 4k so way better than 1440p, autofocus keeps quality clean, my best bang for buck so far

Webcam recommendation’s
emeet pixy would be perfect for that, dual camera ai ptz lets you move around and switch angles without touching anything, lighting handles low light situations way better than most, 4k quality is clean for streaming.

why my talking head videos felt so awkward?
I use the Emeet Pixy camera for auto tracking (they might have dropped price under $100 now), one of the best values for my gear so far.

When watching a War Thunder Stream, do you prefer webcams or not?
Webcam makes a difference for me especially when something crazy happens ingame. Seeing the reaction is half the fun. been using emeet pixy and the tracking helps when I lean in or jump back lol. for war thunder specifically good comms and explaining what youre doing helps cause the game can be conf

Advice
I had some problem, felt weird talking to nobody. what helped was imagining im explaining to a friend, not recording. Also dont script everything, just bullet points so it sounds natural. Facecam helped me too cause I focus on reacting instead of just talking. Emeet pixy tracks me when i move around

i use emeet pixy and its solid for the price, under 100 bucks. low light is decent and tracking is a nice bonus if you move around at your desk
