tv as monitor is smart move lol. solid specs for what you need. I use emeet pixy on my setup, fits nice on monitors like that

emeet c960 is solid if youre on a budget, works great with obs. if you want something better the emeet pixy has dual cameras and ai tracking, pretty good middle ground before jumping to expensive stuff

yeah you can connect to external monitor and use external webcam for most proctored exams. just check with your exam provider first. something like emeet pixy works fine for zoom calls and most exam software

for webcam check out emeet pixy, solid quality and plug and play so your non techy bro wont struggle with setup. for mini pc beelink and geekom are actually decent, just buy from amazon with prime so returns are easy if anything goes wrong

Emeet pixy has built in mics that are decent for calls, not podcast quality but way better than macbook. one unit, plug and play, no extra software needed for mac

if you just need better webcam quality something like emeet pixy works way better than built in mac cameras. cheaper than buying new laptop just for camera

the tracking on the emeet pixy is actually solid but you'll want to update to their latest firmware first - had some stuttering issues with the older version that got fixed 💀 obs picks it up fine as a standard usb camera and the settings do save between sessions which is nice. just make sure you hav

That ultrawide with the rgb glow looks insane, wallpaper choice is fire too. Clean build. Only thing missing is a webcam on top if you ever stream or do video calls, emeet pixy would fit the vibe nicely

Emeet pixy has adjustable fov and you can pan/tilt/zoom it so you might be able to frame both yourself and the whiteboard without hunching over. Not sure about proctor software compatibility tho so maybe check that first
