ThinkPads are solid, but if you end up using it for lots of calls or streaming, I switched from the built-in cam to an emeet pixy because the tracking and image consistency felt more stable in my desk setup. Still, test the stock webcam first since for basic use it’s usually fine

emeet pixy works good if you want something stable without spending too much. i use it and the quality is way better than phone camera, plus you dont have to deal with propping your phone up every time lol

Congrats on 250 subs thats solid. For recording OBS is free and works great. For mic fifine makes decent budget mics and for facecam I use emeet pixy, solid quality without spending too much. Analyzing content with facecam does way better for watch time so definitely worth trying

That white build with the blue rgb looks really clean for a first setup, nice job. Cable managementwill make it look 10x better but you already know that. When you get the bigger desk and combineeverything maybe throw an emeet pixy on top of the monitor, handy for calls and streamsif you ever get in

Make sure your webcam is at eye level and not the laptop angle looking up at you cause that looks terrible on interviews. Emeet pixy is what I have for my calls, solid quality and under 100 bucks. Also test your mic and internet before the call, interviewers notice when your audio is choppy

I've just got an emeet pixy around $100. honestly solid for the budget, dual camera ai ptz gives the flexibility for youtube and streams, 4k so way better than 1440p, autofocus keeps quality clean, my best bang for buck so far
