AI auto-tracking webcams feel like cheating for IRL streamers… am I being a boomer?
I mean I kinda thought the same thing until I actually tried one (got the emeet pixy for like $100). Honestly the tracking isn't even that noticeable to viewers, it just means i dont have to worry about staying perfectly still at my desk anymore. like i can lean back, grab something, whatever and im

Is using webcam a must?
Not a must but it helps a lot especially for gaming cause reactions are half the content. people connect more when they see a face. if youre not comfortable maybe try it for a few streams and see how it feels. something like emeet pixy is easy to set up if you decide to try it

New streamer question!
Webcam definitely helps with growth cause people connect more when they can see you. I use emeet pixy on my setup and its not expensive, just plug it into your pc and youre good. But also try posting clips on youtube shorts or tiktok from your streams, thats how most small streamers get discovered

PC remote buy from Australia
for webcam check out emeet pixy, solid quality and plug and play so your non techy bro wont struggle with setup. for mini pc beelink and geekom are actually decent, just buy from amazon with prime so returns are easy if anything goes wrong

Streaming direct from Xbox, equipment suggestions?
For cheap laptop just to manage stream any basic one with decent wifi works. Dont need much power if youre not encoding on it. Webcam something like emeet pixy works good and doesnt need crazy setup, plug and play

Can anyone recommend an entry-level webcam/mic upgrade for macbook pro?
Emeet pixy has built in mics that are decent for calls, not podcast quality but way better than macbook. one unit, plug and play, no extra software needed for mac

New to Twitch
Be consistent with schedule so people know when to find you, get decent audio cause bad mic kills streams faster than bad video, and talk even when nobody is watching cause vods help. Facecam helps too if youre comfortable, something like Emeet pixy works solid for starting out. Good luck

Why did you choose Twitch? And what’s your go-to streaming tool?
Chose twitch cause the community is more interactive than youtube, chat feels more alive. For tools obs is free and works great once you set it up, tons of tutorials out there. for webcam i use emeet pixy, plug and play so you can focus on gaming instead of tech stuff. biggest tip: just start stream

Do I need to buy a webcam?
Depends on the class tbh. some require camera on for attendance or exams, some dont care. check with your professor first. if you do need one something like emeet pixy works solid and plug and play
