I have a gaming laptop - Dell g15 5520 - and advise you to take the battery concern SERIOUSLY. Mine runs google for two hours on battery life.

Any solution found? dell g15 5515 same issue, gpu refuses to go beyond 40 watts no matter what. gpu temps and hotspots temps are both 70c at best idk whats going on

If the price is right then go for it, keep in mind that this is last gen hardware. Also, Dell no longer makes the G series of laptops, this line was replaced by an entry level Alienware lineup. As for the laptop itself, it should serve you well for the next few years. I have the G15 5520 with 12th G

Yeah you're fine. You can use the Dell software to adjust the charging setting, you can set it to always plugged in. I think by doing this it limits the charge to 80% improving battery longevity. And obviously with you exercising the battery every now and again you should be fine. I also have the G1
