What’s a photography tip that wasted your time for years?
You're absolutely right - but as someone who shot wildlife on an old DSLR and a tiny EF-S telephoto lens for 3 years - good glass and modern AF are things I wish I'd invested in years ago. I initially refused to spend too much on equipment for a hobby I was likely to give up on soon (thanks ADHD!),

M101 - The Pinwheel Galaxy
Just starting out been building equipment for a while, I'm saving for a dedicated astro camera, but for now, stuck with my unmodified DSLM.
This is the first shot that I can say I'm really proud of!
Equipment:
Scope: SW Explorer 130P-DS
Camera: Canon EOS R7 (unmodified)
Mount: EQ6-R Pro

Rebellious but cute Hankō (MDD custom)
Just Hankō being cute!!! Despite being rebellious!
Hankō is a MDD on the Volks MDD DD-F3 2.0 body, her head faceup was done by Chisaidoll and it's the Volks DDH-29 head! Wig is a Volks Hatsune Miku wig from 2014 that had the twintails adjusted due to the MDD smaller size!

Noise on M43 still a thing?
It depends on the camera and what you’re comparing it to. For me personally noise hasn’t been an issue since the day both companies finally retired the classic 12MP Panasonic LiveMOS sensor. All 16MP and 20MP sensors have been fine, and the latest 25MP sensor in the G9ii is actually better than Cano

The Wonderful World of Trichomes continues
Lots and lots of practice I guess lol. Canon R7 with an 85mm and 18-55mm stacked. Focus stacked a lot of images. Good continuous lighting. And the attitude that anything is possible. 🙏😁🤘

Blaumeise an ihrer Nisthöhle
Danke!

Lens advice
You have bought yourself a very competent camera. There are some problems, though. Canon makes no prime (non zoom) lenses specifically for the APS-C cameras. But you do have the option of using Canon’s full frame lenses. The two that come to mind are the RF 35 mm f/1.8 and the 50 mm f/1.8. The 35 ma

Which camera should i buy?
Since u have a limited budget... and I am assuming the 2000 is for camera and lens...i wonder why you focused on the R6 Mark II. Its a good camera... If you do a lot of wide landscape shots... that full frame sensor will come in handy. But.... with a limited budget, getting a camera with an APS-C se
