While DLSRs are entirely capable, technically speaking, either camera you mention is about 50 billion times better than what was available when you bought your DLSR. No, you don't miss anything. But different people love different things. Sony has been the champion of the technology geeks. They were earlier in the mirrorless game and tend to have more gadgets. Canon has traditionally better ergonomics from the rounded bodies to the structure of the menus. Don't

Colors seem totally fine to me on calibrated equipment. Could be one of several things on your end. Uncalibrated display. This seems kind of likely being it looks perfectly fine to me, but maybe your other photos looks different? Share some more examples if you can. Default camera profile in LR. I f

I'm confused, why would the Mark III be worse in low-light? Do you need any of the more advanced video features of the III? Here's a comparison list of the feature differences. If not, and you really just want something like your original R6 but with less overheating issues, then the Mark II is a lo

I will buy it. My R6 is getting old and I am doing more weddings now and want a second camera body rather than just renting one to have redundant equipment when I shoot a wedding. My only real disappointments with the announcement: No real improvement in the sensor read out speed from the mark ii. I

Can't go wrong with either. I use the (much older) EOS R for a lot of the family and portrait work I do, and I find its 32MP resolution to be a nice little bump over the 20MP to 24MP sensors I've used previously, but it's not a huge difference. I'd personally spend the extra for the R6 III if I were

I use Canon EF glass on Sony all the time. AF works better than on the older DLSRs. With the RF cameras though, AF works a LOT better than the older DLSRs. Why not rent an R6II for a week and see?

Watched too many shilltubers and bought a Z6iii instead of an R6ii after deciding to move from a 5DIV. Whoops. Now I’m deep into Z mount. The lenses are great, but Nikon service sucks and their bodies ain’t built like they used to be. And they are pretty portly and heavy. Turns out I don’t need 6k 6
