Eh, we've had a Breville Barista Express for years and no issues with it. We've even lugged it back and forth for family events and parties with no issues.

I'm guessing you're in the states? If you're scouting for these types of clearance deals, I'd check around TjMaxx, Marshalls, and Home goods. You might be able to score a Breville bambino, bambino plus, barista express, barista pro, or even one of the touch/oracles but those are significantly more.

From experience what I can say is that the old school way of making espresso is still the best way. Another Breville option could be Breville Bambino which doesn't have a grinder but is cheaper,

I've got the Breville Barista Express machine, have had no issues, makes good coffee, haven't used any other machine, so cant really give a comparison. But is definitely better than a coffee pod machine, night and day.
