Deinfluence me: Espresso Machine

Lets look at the cons based on my exp with a Breville Barista Express. ● mahal ung mga filter tablets. 1k ata per pack/ 6 pieces. ● aside sa matagal ung final product, you have to clean it every time you use it. Otherwise, may build up, may amoy, and pests can enter. ● the machine has a grinder, per

Best oat milk shaken espresso

I'm trying not to get flamed for this, but honestly for a simple drink like this, the best one is made at home. If you love this drink and have the time/resources, I see a good amount of breville barista express machines on fb marketplace for a decent price. This machine has a grinder incorporated i

Need Help Choosing Coffee Machine☕️☕️

Love the different views this topic will generate :) Barista Express (and most of the all-in-one Breville's) are good in the longish term. Parts fail and these machines have limited repairability. I have a refurb, and this is my second personal Breville machine, and 4th of their's I've bought/used o

Buying Advice Needed [$360]

I'm guessing you're in the states? If you're scouting for these types of clearance deals, I'd check around TjMaxx, Marshalls, and Home goods. You might be able to score a Breville bambino, bambino plus, barista express, barista pro, or even one of the touch/oracles but those are significantly more.

Barista Express/ Impress or La Specialista Opera? [500-620 USD]

I have no idea about wattage converting or warranty claims in south east Asia but out of these two machines the Breville is higher quality and will make better coffee. That said, as someone with a Breville Barista Express, if I were purchasing an entry level espresso machine again I would get a Brev

Espresso machine with grinder [$600-700]

The problem with espresso machines with built-in grinders is that the grinders are of poor quality. When brewing espresso, the grinder is the most important part of the setup, much more important than the brewer. A Breville Bambino Plus paired with a DF54, Baratza ESP Pro, or Eureka Mignon Zero 55s

Espresso lovers, what's the best espresso machine that you've actually used and enjoyed?

If you're into doing it all yourself but dont have crazy money to fork out over 500 on a grinder as well than I highly recommend the breville/sage (depending where you are) barista express! Has a built in adjustable grinder that works pretty well. Been using it for 5 years and it was my starting beg

Help me decide on a machine [$500]

Yea it’s better to have grinder and machine separate but for simplicity, I think the sage/breville barista express is the best. You have to look at tj maxx or Marshall’s to find it for $500 though.

First time buyer, long time espresso lover [$1000]

At your price point its a bit of a compromise. Breville Barista Express is fine, an easy and convenient workflow but at some point you will want to another grinder. But for 1k us you can only buy thermoblock or single boiler machines. Do you want pre-owned? Id go Gaggia Classic Pro / Rancilio Silvia

What espresso setup would be best for us? [~$750 budget]

I just did a ton of research as a beginner and I went with the Breville Bambino Plus ($400) and the Baratza Encore ESP ($200). I’m having a blast and making some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Another option is indeed the Barista Express. I didn’t go with this one because I wanted a better grinde
