An OLED cheaper than 32GB of RAM.
After like 8 years of waiting for the perfect 3:2 monitor I settled for a Benq RD280U 4K+ 3:2 IPS 60hz. after having it for a couple of months I plan to get a second one. Ever since Microsoft launched the Surface Studio, I've wanted a 28" 3:2 monitor, I've been using a 3:2 laptop since the release o

Monitor for Thinkpad x1 carbon gen 13 aura edition
I equipped the trading room users with BenQ RD280UG 3:2 aspect ratio monitors marketed to programmers. Two of those fit nicely on a standard desk, lots of vertical screen space. Perfect for Bloomberg Terminal (lots of small white fonts on black) . People stare at that for ten hours day and more, so

Monitors for coding
I’m currently using the Benq rd280u coding monitor, the squareish 3:2 aspect ratio feels great, big enough but not overwhelming.

Which matte finish monitor for a mini? 5k or 4k? Confused....
I really like my BenQ RD280U (use two of them side-by-side). They are a bit taller, which is great for Xcode.

Best monitor setup for Excel-heavy home office: Dual monitors or 49″ ultrawide?
I would go for something like Benq 28" RD280U or RD320U. But my programs often takes more vertical space and not tons of horizontal space.

Monitor Advice for a History PhD Student
I agree. I have a 27" 5K , 32" 4K, and 40" 5K2K at different stations and for focused work, I prefer the 27" Studio Display. For work meetings and scattered work, the 32" size works well, but for focusing on a single task, 27" is my preference. Code editors are too wide with a 32" display as well. T
