Newer monitor with this shape exists?

Somehow nobody has mentioned the BenQ RD280UG Programming Monitor yet? It's brand new, and is specifically a 4:3 monitor with modern technology and features. Pretty much exactly what you're looking for.

Kuycon P20 28.2" 4.5K Ultra-HD+ Monitor (3:2)

I want this for sure! But for those interested a lower but still decent ppi (I think it is 163ish) and same 3:2, a bit cheaper, from more known producer/seller is this BenQ: https://www.amazon.com/BenQ-RD280U-Programming-Fine-Coated-Eco-Friendly/dp/B0D2PDYHD9?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1https://www.amazon.com

First week with an ultra wide monitor - it's not all pony's and rainbows

Have you seen the new 28" BenQ RD280UG? 3840x2560(!!) vertical resolution at 28" in an aspect ratio pretty much perfect for use as a side monitor, and it's 120Hz. It also advertises a 2000:1 contrast ratio, which makes me think it's an IPS Black panel, similar to what's in the u4025qw. Going to grab

Is RD280UG just a paper launch?

The BenQ RD280 series has 4K+ resolution. Stop referring to the RD280U monitor; the RD280UG is a different panel with higher contrast and a better refresh rate. Nobody likes those Awfulk monitors.

Is RD280UG just a paper launch?

I would recommend the Gawfolk 28,2 inch monitor. Same display as the rd280u but for less than 1/4th of the price. It‘s a steal ! Kuycon P20 ist also an 28.2 inch 3:2 monitor but with 4,5k resolution instead of 4k only 4k like the Benq.

BenQ RD280U vs ASUS PA27JCV 5K for programming on macOS?

I'll buy 5k monitors instead. I returned RD280U.I have Samsung Viewfinity 5k 27 inch but looking for second monitor as PA27JCV or BenQ 5K. Still not decided. 5K has better text.

32GB of RAM on track to become the new majority for gamers — Steam survey indicates shift could occur before the end of the year | RTX 4060, 1600p screens, and Windows 11 gain momentum

3:2 is the new 16:10, I run a BenQ 28.2" RD280U 4k+ (3840x2560) monitor, only catch is it's 60hz, but I don't play hyper competitive twitch shooters anymore. But as a workspace it's amazing, so for my usage it's perfect.
