Something with the Ryzen 780m or 890m integrated graphics & that has a oculink or USB4/thunderbolt port My vote is the Gmktec k8 plus it has been a little powerhouse for me it plays most games med-high settings 1080p 50-60fps and with the oculink port you can buy a eGPU dock and graphics card down t

Base mac mini m4 worth over minis forum or beelink?

If you live in any part of the Apple ecosystem the Mac Mini M4 is a plus! My granddaughter has a 24GB Mac Mini M4 and lives almost exclusively in the Apple ecosystem (iPhone/iPad/Apple watch/Apple TV/etc). Having said that, she still has a Windows laptop she has to use a couple of times a week for a

Worth buying Chinese mini pc brands vs Dell or Lenovo?

I've been rocking a beelink ser8 for about a year now so not long enough to tell reliability but I haven't had issues. I use it as a home file server, Plex server, and calibre library manager. I hooked up a jbod to add more drives and it's been great.

Wary about getting my first Beelink Mini PC

We love our beelink ser8 8845 we got 6 months ago. The wife uses it for her side gig, plus I use it for 3d printing and other generic home items. She even games with it. It’s a work horse. Now we did splurge a bit and bought it with 64GB of RAM and 2TB of SSDs.

Steam machine vs other similar minipc

The new Steam console is expected to be as low as $500 USD with 512 GB of storage. As high as $800 with $2 TB of storage. Also, the dedicated GPU is slightly better than an AMD Radeon 6600XT. The CPU is slightly worse than Ryzen 7 8845HS CPU, commonly found in Beelink SER8 and GMKtec K8 Plus. If you

Help with buying a mini pc!

Gmktec k8 plus,Beelink SER8, AOOSTAR GEM12 There are many options but since you seem like a casual gamer I suggest the gmktec k8 plus mini PC or a AMD Ryzen mini PC in general, the k8 plus is capable of playing most games in 1080p at 50-60 fps med-high settings no problem and it has an oculink port

Most reliable brands - just starting my search

Coming from a PC repair shop, we simply scan customer OOTB PC drives from a secure computer (akin to your Dell) for malware, inspect the PC & the staff & I are done. These are primarily purchases from Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc, where we rarely find anything. It's not like during the pandemic or c

What is the best minipc brand now widely loved on the market? (Beelink, AceMagic, Geekom, GMKtec, Minisforum, Aoostar)

Reliable brands are Beelink, Intel/Asus NUC, Apple Mac Mini, GMKtec, Geekom, and to some degree Minisforum. Within the $400 to $600 USD price range, are my recommendations: GMKtec K6 at $490 on Amazon. Ryzen 7 7840HS CPU and Radeon 780M iGPU, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, 1 TB of SSD storage, and Wi-Fi 6E. Bee
