Upgrading to internal 8dBi high gain internal antennas & quality Wi-Fi cards are the best "fix". With the budget, a solid place to start would be the Beelink SER5 Pro

The point is what you want / aim. Current Beelink SER5 MAX with 6800H is really a new platform / board design disguise under an old SER5 MAX name, mostly aimed for better price & cost. Minisforum UM870 still running fine and used daily (5-8 hours a day) in my wife's office. Also moved my mother to a Beelink SER5 Pro (Ryzen 7 5825U) around the same time and it is doing quite well - Wifi has not been a problem. And having played around with the SER5 Pro quite a bit, I think it would
