Φθηνή αγορά που σας εξεπληξε

Beelink minipc S12 pro.

Low-power hardware suggestion?

My N100 Beelink S12 Pro uses 10-24W. I'm in an RV and boondock a lot so I count every watt. It's very efficient. About 2-4x more power consumption than a RPi but way more than 2-4x more powerful. I run over 100 Kubernetes containers including a full media stack.

Synology-based home lab approach

I run Plex and JellyFin on an N100 BeeLink S12 Pro with 16GB ram and 500GB nvme. Debian 13, Plex and JellyFin.. it’s a 15 minute straight forward install. One of the few systems I actually set for automated updates. It’s lost in my basement 19” rack system on one of the shelves. The N100 with QuickS

Immich Truenas

No.. not really… Docker was created to let developers package an application and all its dependencies into a portable, isolated environment that runs the same way everywhere on each distribution and be multi OS compatible. As for overhead savings.. this really only applies to seriously old low resou

Using Orange Pi 5 Plus as a local LLM server for an autonomous AI trading system here’s what I learned after 59 days

Yes the Orange Pi 5 Plus pricing has moved. When I bought mine it was around $89, it has crept up since. Alternatives I would actually consider for local LLM inference at the same price point: Radxa Rock 5B – similar RK3588 chip as the Orange Pi 5, 16GB RAM option available, better community support
