Encore ESP

I’m using a Breville Bambino with a Baratza Encore ESP....yeah simple setup, but it works well.

The grinder matters more than the machine, and you should budget a decent amount for that too. I HIGHLY recommend a burr grinder and some fresh whole beans. Something at least the Baratza Encore Esp if automatic or a decent burr hand grinder like the Kingrinder k6. Makes a huge difference.

Baratza Encore ESP, $199 new. It comes with 2 shims; if it doesn't grind fine enough, add 1 shim (very easy to install; youtube has multiple videos on this; it takes 90 seconds). This little machine holds its weight against my $1k+ grinder. I find myself going to the encore, esp. more often than not
