Best coffee grinder in 2026 for home? My Budget $100–$300
I'm in the Netherlands and have had great support from Baratza for my encore ESP. I sent them an email asking about some discolouration on my burrset that looked like damage. They confirmed it was fine and sent me a new burr carrier for free because they weren't sure from the pictures if it was inta

Fellow Aiden coffee pot is terrible, support is worse
Man, I heard that people typically push entry-level users to Baratza because Fellow's customer service is "not as good," but I didn't realize it was that awful. I'm so glad I got the Encore ESP over the Ode.

Coffee grinder to go with the sage bambino plus [£200 budget]
I'll paste my usual recs at this price point from cheapest up. Definitely drop the sage smart grinder, it is no longer a good option. Baratza Encore ESP - This is your basic low budget option. Conical grinder, high retention, plastic exterior, low quality internals including plastic but they compens

What grinder do you use, why, and how much did it cost?
Baratza encore esp. $160 on prime day a few years ago. Got it cause I'd had the OG non-espresso encore for my morning drip thanks to a wirecutter review, but I'd gotten more into espresso since then. The ESP was a familiar device and in the right price range for someone curious about the espresso wo

Can't choose a grinder! [$250]
Baratza is an excellent company, breville is not a better company but ironically has bought them out. If you are going to be brewing dark roast an esp is fine. The cheap baratzas arent great for handling dense beans that come with light roasts to grind down into espresso. I have both a barratza vari

Tired of my Handgrinder. Need Recommendations. (Varia VS3 Gen 2 vs. Encore ESP Pro vs. Bricks 01s) [$300 USD]
The Baratza is a very good grinder for the money and I am happy with it, but I would probably select something else if I had to buy one again. Valid point on the dosing cup. I don't use it. Instead I single-dose and catch the grounds holding my shaker directly under the chute. Works well for me, don

I’ve been ordering the same beans from Amazon for 2 years and I can’t find another that I like as much as these. What am I missing?
They're basically the two cheapest decent electric espresso grinders. Baratza supposedly has good support, seems like the burrs are slightly better, and it runs at lower rpm. Maybe the smartginder pro is something to look at, I believe they upgraded to the same burrs as the encore esp uses now. Defi

Espresso Grinder for Breville Bambino [$200]
I don't know the Opus, but the Baratza Encore ESP has been a widely respected unit in the price class for years and is definitely a safe purchase. Even though they were bought by Breville the word is that they'll maintain their own CS department - which has a great rep. Fellow generally has a good r

Grinding too fine [Baratza Encore ESP Pro]
I had the same problem. Was having to grind at between 41-44 on a medium/dark roast bean to get a 1:2 ratio in about 30 secs (Bambino Plus). This was unacceptable, as the grinder's USP is stepless grinding at 1-40 for espresso, with a light that shows 'ESP' and only comes on in this range. I also on

Baratza encore using 0 grind size? [Machine, grinder]
I’m in the same boat - I don’t have the shim kit that came with the ESP, and Baratza support is super helpful
