Buying a game controller for my smartphone has diminished the value of my dedicated handheld gaming device.

Well, yeah, you're comparing a 800-900 usd current phone with a 300 usd android handled lmao it will obviously outperform it I honestly feel the opposite way. I've been playing with my phone (a redmi note 13 pro+) and a G8 galileo for a year now, and I recently bought an AYN Odin 2 Portal. It's a cl

What is the highest level of console generation can the switch (v1, v2, oled) emulate?

I would personally look at an Ayn Odin 2 (Portal, in case you want Oled) or Ayn Thor (same power, just clamshell).Or Odin 3 for even more power.Switch is great for Switch games but too weak for emulation. And don’t even think about Steam emulation. To put into perspective, modern Android handhelds h

Odin2portal is a end game device

Do you have your Odin 3? Your flair says "waiting on my Odin." For the ways I use these devices, I'd rather have an Odin 2 Portal, with its bigger screen, than a more powerful Odin 3, with a smaller screen. I've yet to run into something I wanted to play on the 2 that I couldn't, but would have been

New Odin 3 Owner - What's the Best Way to Run Games?

Ok, lets do this one last time. TL;DR: Look up guides. There's a bunch of them that will walk you through most everything. They are on youtube and most of those have write ups on personal websites/blogs too. The Odin line of devices by the company AYN (Odin, Odin 2, Odin 2 Mini, Odin 2 Portal, Odin

Next Retroid Pocket Date?

Nobody knows when the RP6 will be announced. Could be end of this year, could be 2026. But by the time that comes out, there will be a better Ayn Odin. And then Anbernic will update the RG line. And then Retroid will come out with another Flip, or a new Mini. So you might as well just wait for the R

New RP6 12+128GB Stick Top Configuration

I have been making this argument myself actually. I have an AYN thor 8gb and the AYN Odin 2 portal 12gb and the PC emulation is marginal at best. Internal storage is more a factor than the ram. I got absolutely destroyed for say that the 16gb snapdragon elite was not necessary. The bottleneck will a

Size matters

If you’re looking for a bigger screen, you can always buy an AYN Odin Portal. They are $260. The nova is for people who are nostalgic for 4:3 gaming. Though it is small, it blows the G cloud out of the water power wise as well as the AYN Portal.

Is It Out Of Stock Forever? Or Is There Going to be a Restock??

The Odin 2 portal and the AYN Thor have the same chip, ram amounts, and performance. Only difference is the Thor has 2 screens while the Odin 2 portal has one big screen

ENDGAME DEVICE?

I have the ayn Odin 2 Portal so I didnt get this one as I can now not do less than 7inch OLED. But this is a great looking device. 8gen2 is getting long in the tooth so will probably replace this in a year or two depending on where driver support is as well as emulators But as of right now... Im goo

Is there a good portable gaming handheld that can handle PC games

Ayn Odin 2 portal / mini pro Ayn Thor Retroid Pocket 5/G2/6 These ones are on that price range, emulation is up to Switch and with Gamehub you can play steam games. So is up to whatever you like the most in terms of form factor
