Buying a game controller for my smartphone has diminished the value of my dedicated handheld gaming device.

Well, yeah, you're comparing a 800-900 usd current phone with a 300 usd android handled lmao it will obviously outperform it I honestly feel the opposite way. I've been playing with my phone (a redmi note 13 pro+) and a G8 galileo for a year now, and I recently bought an AYN Odin 2 Portal. It's a cl

What is the highest level of console generation can the switch (v1, v2, oled) emulate?

I would personally look at an Ayn Odin 2 (Portal, in case you want Oled) or Ayn Thor (same power, just clamshell).Or Odin 3 for even more power.Switch is great for Switch games but too weak for emulation. And don’t even think about Steam emulation. To put into perspective, modern Android handhelds h

Odin2portal is a end game device

Do you have your Odin 3? Your flair says "waiting on my Odin." For the ways I use these devices, I'd rather have an Odin 2 Portal, with its bigger screen, than a more powerful Odin 3, with a smaller screen. I've yet to run into something I wanted to play on the 2 that I couldn't, but would have been

8" with OLED Screen for Streaming

For streaming you could do ayn odin 2 portal, which is an android device and would fit perfect with its oled screen but 7inch only. If budget not a concern then legion go 2 with 8.8 inch and oled screen

Any suggestions for a handheld console to play games through Steam streaming to the device, without needing to be powerful or anything like that, for a low price and with at least 720p60?

Mangmi Air X is gonna be the cheapest 16:9 that isn't in the e-waste category and can do alright streaming. Won't be Steam Deck levels of comfort but its a budget choice around $120. Good step up to around $250 gets you the Mangmi Pocket Max or AYN Odin 2 Portal which are great 7" screen devices per

What is the cheapest handheld to use xcloud?

Ayn Odin 2 Portal is the best 7" Android based streaming handheld, starting at $249. https://www.ayntec.com/products/odin2-portal Asus ROG Xbox Ally is the best 7" Windows native based handheld, which also makes for the best streaming handheld. Especially when it goes on sale below $500. https://www

Best Client Device you would recommend?

I'm looking for the same. I just ordered the ayn odin2 portal to try out. It seems to check all the boxes but it's only 1080p. I love how thin and light it is. I have also been using a split controller grip with my phone but the screen is too small. I considered the Astra but seems expensive... May

ENDGAME DEVICE?

I have the ayn Odin 2 Portal so I didnt get this one as I can now not do less than 7inch OLED. But this is a great looking device. 8gen2 is getting long in the tooth so will probably replace this in a year or two depending on where driver support is as well as emulators But as of right now... Im goo

Which one?

I would look at the AYN Odin2 Portal for streaming. Bigger screen than the RP6 for similar cost. If you are set on a Retroid then the RP6 with the stick on top is probably your best option.

I wish I had a PSP too

I mean, not really. I still have my old PSPs but Id definitely reach for my Retroid Pocket 5 or Ayn Odin2 Portal all day over original hardware. Still just using a Bluetooth controller with your phone will probably work fine as well. PPSSPP is a great emulator, and depending on your device you easil
