Ai generated TLDR, after handwriting that entire post I didn’t have it left in me to summarize it as well, hopefully this gets the point across Wanted a portable gaming device to complement a high-end 5090 desktop, mainly for travel and gaming around the house Needed AAA + online games, good perform

If you are lame and don't wanna read the whole thing. An employee brought us the Zephyrus G14 on accident instead of the Asus TUF F16. It turned out to be way better for me, so I ended up buying it, good laptop 9.9 out of 10. Update: The Asus TUF 16 model was a 5060 with 32gb, It would not have been

Very unlikely, this is an Asus ROG zephyrus g14, not great for work and rough battery life - pretty much the most gaming performance possible built into the smallest frame possible, lots of overheating issues too. Unless this guy is an exec that got to pick their own laptop from wherever lol

Not from arki, but got friends who are: Brand is not going to be a concern. What you should be focusing more is the specifications, especially if the laptop in question has discrete graphics. Because that's going to heavily factor your gpu renderings and/or task involving 3D-related shenanigans. Thi

Io sto studiando ingengeria meccanica, quindi potremmo avere bisogni simili. Fino ad oggi ho sempre usato un MacBook Air con M2 e, per quanto riguarda la durata della batteria e compiti semplici, mi sono sempre trovato benissimo. Ultimamente però all'uni mi sono richiesti software specifici che non

I'll try my best to simplify this: There are multiple models/generation of whatever brand you're eyeing. Take the Asus TUF lineup, I can 50/50 agree because their older models used to have crappy build quality and heating problems back in the days. Another example is the Asus V16 models, Asus market

yeah surface pro 7+ struggling with blender makes sense, that's a u-series processor trying to handle gpu-intensive work for mechanical engineering you definitely need a dedicated gpu (solidworks, fusion 360, etc won't run well without one) and 32gb ram is smart asus options: asus rog strix g16 is s

Honestly I’d look at the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14. It’s one of the few gaming laptops that’s still pretty portable and doesn’t get insanely loud during normal use. Battery life is also better than most gaming laptops, so it’s actually usable for college. Another good option is the Lenovo Legion Slim 5.

Why not get a laptop? It seems like the obvious solution here. You have the money for a really nice one, normally going the portable PC route only makes sense if you're trying to save as much money as possible, but you have the money for a laptop that'll offer comparable performance to a desktop whi

If you found a Windows laptop that has a battery that lasts close to Macbooks, get it. Consider a laptop with dGPU as well, at some point it'll come in handy. It's something that Macbooks lacks. I would go for thin laptops like ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2025. I myself was using a 2GB DDR3L RAM with Inte
