Valve’s biggest win with the Deck

That's their secret of success, and why it endures despite so many more powerful devices like the Legion Go or the Rog Ally X. They sold Steamdecks at a fraction of what they could, they keep it up-to-date, they have excellent customer service, and they made the process of purchasing games easy and

Witchfire director says “everybody should attempt to support” Steam Deck as it just makes games better for everyone

Between the Switch 2, Xbox Rog Ally X and Steam Deck, it feels like the market is filling up slowly with more handhelds, which can only be a good thing imo. Developers will hopefully be more likely to make settings or even entire games that benefit these systems more and more.

Do you guys take advantage of Xbox Play Anywhere if you have a PC?

Absolutely. I will always buy a game on Xbox if it’s Play Anywhere. My setup is built around it. PC in my office, Series X in the living room, ROG Ally X for on the go. Play Anywhere works like a charm.

Valve Says It's 'Hard at Work' on Steam Deck 2, but There's Still No Release Window

At same the wattage this is true but the nice thing about the Z2E handhelds is that they often have much larger batteries than the Steam Deck. The Ally X & Xbox ROG Ally X for instance has a 80W battery which is 60% higher than the Steam Deck OLED’s so you can play at a much higher wattage than the

New ROG Xbox Ally Updates: Docking Improvements, Auto SR Preview, Collective Library, Enhanced Vibration, and More

As ROG Xbox Ally X owner, these are all great changes. The only thing left I wish they’d address is gamepad responsiveness in the Xbox UI, especially coming out of sleep. It’s nowhere near as fast as console.

I love my steam deck but I’ve got one huge problem

Probably a bit blasphemous to say in the Steam Deck subreddit, but the ROG Ally X has a left stick position that would likely work better for you. IMO comfort is king with handhelds so I would consider switching to a different handheld instead of trying to find solution for Steam Deck

How the hell does this game run?!

Something so small did, and would still, require its own dedicated library of games in order for them to run on such a small device. Even the gigantic handhelds today can't run full console/PC games without significant settings changes and lower resolutions. And the higher the settings, the faster y

Is $490 good for a used Xbox ally x??

Yes, are you sure that is not a ROG Ally X (2024)? $500 is still low for that.

I really want to like mobile gaming!

I have a 5090 gaming PC and a 120 inch screen I still find incredible value in my Rog Ally X because I travel frequently for work and it helps pass hotel time and flying. I think it’s just not a product for you or even marketed towards you and that’s ok. It’s got nothing to do with what we have in o
